Eligibility Screening Policy for participants


Parents, if you are unable to answer “Yes” to all the statements below, your student is NOT eligible to attend the EAL or Ranch Connect Programs. (Once you answer an eligibility question, the next one will show up. There are 5 eligibility requirements in total.)

1. Is your student between the ages of 7-17 years old?

2. Has your student experienced or currently struggling with trauma, mental health and/or social obstacles?

3. Is your student able to walk safely on unstable terrain, independently care for own needs such as restroom breaks, understand basic directives, and administer own medical needs such as EpiPen, Inhalers, Insulin?

4. Is your student willing to wear protective footwear, a helmet (when mounted), and wear a facial mask (as required)?

5. If your student is in foster care, will you provide the legally required consent either from the case worker or birth parent - as advised by your case worker?
